Making a BB gun with a mechanical pencil

Steps

1. Consider this list of the things that you will need before following these steps and making a gun:

* Pliers, Scissors or knife

* 6mm metal or plastic bbs

* mechanical pencil

* small rubber band

* larder pen

2. Get a wire cutter and a mechanical pencil. Make sure that there is no lead present in the pencil.

3. Use a pocket knife to cut the end of the pencil. Pull out the eraser holder to remove the top and the inside of the pencil.

4. Take a larger pen and hollow it out. Place the inside of the mechanical pencil in the hollow pen. A slightly larger pen is required to fire out the bb’s

5. Take a rubber band and stretch it out till the middle of the mechanical pencil. Attach a eraser by cutting a slit through it. In order to hold the barrel down, wrap another rubber to the first one along the barrel.

6. Put the BB in the front by pulling back the slide.

Now the BB is ready to shoot out.

Second Method

Steps

1. Cut of the lead pencil at its writing end

2. Remove the stuff inside and pull out the eraser with the help of a lead holder. Stick them together with a tape.

3. Stretch the rubber band to the pencil clip by putting it over the eraser.

4. Use clay balls to pull back and fire

Tips

1. Use small or thick rubber bands to get higher velocities

2. The cutting of the end of the pencil becomes easier by using a wire cutter

3. Experiment firing with different ammos like sticks or metal bbs

4. The wadded up piece of paper can also be used to fire as it is less lethal.

5. The tip of the balloon can also be cut and used as a rubber band.

* Do not take this bb to school as it will invite more trouble

* NEVER look down into the barrel while the bb is loaded. IT can fire by losing grip.

* DO not aim too low as the bb will roll out

I recommend getting one for each difficulty (easy, medium, hard) and testing to see what works to really get your blood pumping. Once you have mastered a certain difficulty, then you can either fold it in half to increase resistance, or you can move up to the next tension strength. Either way, you will be able to adapt to your growing strength.

Exercise bands help you workout in the comfort of your own home doing exercises that you feel comfortable with. You don’t have to take a long trip to the gym and you can work each and every muscle that you desire. 3. Resistance band aside from being a remarkable workout tool to develop muscles’ strength and size it is also a convenient device that can be used at home, while you travel, or even in the gym. It is not advisable to bring heavy equipments like dumbbell while you’re on travel or lifting heavy weight materials at home. Some resistance band workouts that can be great for doing at any of those places mentioned are; squat presses, resisted step-ups with biceps curls, lateral lunge with diagonal chop, resisted crunches (on stability ball), reverse lunge with back row, standing alternating chest press and squat sit with 1-arm back row. For each exercise using resistance band, you just have to complete as many reps as you can in 30 seconds for you get a good result.

The combination of increasing tension and intrinsic eccentric properties make the resistance band an amazing workout tool for developing muscular strength and size. However, it is important to progressively use tauter bands as you become stronger. Just like using a 10 lbs dumbbell forever will force you to plateau and realize no further strength gain, so too will a band of similar tension. As you get stronger, you can move onto a tougher and more resistant band. Progression and overload are 2 important aspects of any training program and need to be implemented for maximum gains in strength and muscular growth.
